Every May when Pokrovsky Cathedral is buried in the blossom of lilacs it becomes the object of close attention of hundreds of creative individuals ready to translate into paper or canvas their vision of this symbol of Moscow and Russia. Art-festivals “Drawing Pokrovsky Cathedral” have been held since 2011.

Preliminary round of Children’s wind bands Festival and Contest “Spasskaya Tower for Children” is held on May, 12 in Moscow’s Zaryadye park. It is a contest for children and youth wind bands, drummers’ groups and majorettes of the Central Federal District.
