August 25, at 12 o’clock VDNH will welcome the big marching parade of the participants of the 2018 Spasskaya Tower International Military Music Festival which this year traditionally is going to be held on Red Square from August 24 to September 2.
The big marching parade will feature Russian and foreign bands and artistic groups, participants of this year’s Festival.
The geographical footprint of the Festival already spans all corners of the globe. This year Moscow will give a warm welcome to the Imperial Youth Band from Great Britain, Prince’s Band of Carabiniers from Monaco, Crescendo Bicycle Showband from the Netherlands, Band of the Royal Guards of Oman, Vieux Grenadiers of Geneva from Switzerland, Cordoba Equestrian Association from Spain, Fanfara Bersaglieri San Dona di Piave from Italy, Military Band from Sri Lanka combining the Army, Navy and Air Force bands, Banda Monumental de Mexico Artistic Group uniting the Delfines Marching Band, Tenochtitlan Dancing Company and Oro de Mexico Youth Mariachi Ensemble, Military Ensemble of the Myanmar Armed Forces as well as the International Celtic Pipes and Drums and International Irish Dance Team.
More than a thousand of musicians and dancers will march along the Main and Central alleys of VDNH. The big parade is going to take its start at 12 o’clock from the Square of Industry. For an hour military bands and artistic groups will entertain the Muscovites and guest of the capital with their talent and professional skills as well as exquisite garments and uniforms.
Grand in its scope and unique in its emotional impact the Eleventh Spasskaya Tower International Military Music Festival is going to become a vibrant celebration of music of the year 2018 uniting nations from all over the world.
