Last Saturday, August 11, the marathon baton of the Military Bands in the Parks program was passed to Zaryadye Park. The Central Military Band of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, one of the most remarkable military bands performed in the unique oasis of the nature right in the center of Moscow.

The official box office of the 2018 Spasskaya Tower Festival has begun its work on Red Square. Yesterday, August 6, the first official box office of the Eleventh Spasskaya Tower International Military Music Festival was opened. It is situated on the crossing of Red Square and Ilyinka Street.

It was not surprising at all as the performed composition was a symbolic salutation for the Muscovites and guests of the capital from the Russia Navy Day Parade which had been held in Saint Petersburg the Sunday before.

Participant of the Russia Navy Day Parade held last Sunday in Saint Petersburg, the Central Band of the Navy named after N. A. Rimsky-Korsakov will perform in the Kuzminki-Lublino Museum Preserve.

Over ten military music bands from eight countries have come to a small Finnish bastion town of Hamina to show their professional skills and compete in this improvised music battle for the hearts of the wind music admirers at the Hamina Tattoo International Military Music Festival.

This year viewers of the International Military Music Festival “Spasskaya Tower” will watch a breathtaking performance of Fanfara Bersaglieri San Donà di Piave.
