May 9 Moscow’s Red Square will once again solemnly host the Victory Day Parade to commemorate the 74^th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. Combined into a massed military band about 50 military ensembles featuring 900 musicians will accompany the event as a matter of a longstanding tradition.

On May 12, 2019 more than a thousand of young musicians combined into a massed children and youth band will perform onstage of the Zaryadye Park Large Amphitheater within the Third Spasskaya Tower Children and Youth Wind Bands Contest.

On April 13, 2019 the first Ceremonial Mounting Parade of the Horse and Foot Guard of the Presidential Regiment took place at the Cathedral Square of Moscow.

Senior officers and prosecutors appointed to higher positions and awarded senior military (special) titles and class ranks were presented to the President Vladimir Putin in a ceremony held in the Grand Kremlin Palace’s Alexander Hall.

From August 23 till September 1 Moscow’s Red Square will be hosting the Twelfth Spasskaya Tower International Military Music Festival.

On May 11, Moscow’s Zaryadye will host a qualification round for the Spasskaya Tower Children and Youth Brass Bands Festival. It will be held in the form of a contest designed for young musicians from the Central Federal District.
