On the 31st of August as a part of X International Military Music Festival «Spasskaya Tower» the Day of Horse was announced in memory of Holy Martyrs Florus and Laurus, which were considered as patrons of horses and other domestic animals in the ancient Russia. 

This year, which is the year when Moscow celebrates its 870th anniversary, shows of X International Military Music Festival «Spasskaya Tower» are sold out for every performance. Day activities at the Children Village and the Horse Ring are free of charge.

Today, on the 30th of August, competitions of trick riding among the young cadets of the Kremlin Equestrian School took place at the Moscow Red Square.

Today, on the 28th of August, Top Secret Drum Corps from Switzerland and the Celtic Orchestra of Drums and Bagpipes together with the international group of Scottish dances performed at the kids’ town at the Red Square. In the evening these bands are performing at the main show of X International Military Music Festival «Spasskaya Tower», and at the daytime they gave a free concert.
