On Sunday, September 10, participants of the «Spasskaya Tower on Sakhalin» festival pleased the citizens with their music and exhibition performances simultaneously at several sites of the island capital.

Today, on September 9, the Presidential Orchestra, Special Guard Company of the Kremlin Regiment, military orchestra of the Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk garrison and joint military band of the Ulan-Bator garrison performed in the Lenin Square.

On Thursday, September 7, the stage of the sold-out October Concert Hall in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk hosted a concert of the Central Military Orchestra of the Russian Defence Ministry under the baton of Honored Artist of Russia, Colonel Sergei Durygin.

For the first time more than 500 orchestra members and artists from Russia, Mongolia and China came to the Festival comprising a total of 12 bands.

Tomorrow, on September 8, the Square of Glory of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk will host the solemn opening ceremony of the IV International Military Musical Festival «Spasskaya Tower on Sakhalin».

The fourth International Festival of Military Orchestras «Spasskaya Tower on Sakhalin» will be held from September 7 to 10. It is dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Sakhalin Region…

Today, on the 3rd of September, a grand closing of X International Military Music Festival «Spasskaya Tower» took place.

Today, on September 3, the Interregional Competition of Youth Honor Guards was held at the site of the «Spasskaya Tower for Children» project.

The 2nd of September is the first autumn weekend and the pre-last day of the “Spasskaya Tower” Festival was highlighted by a large scale campaign - military and music bands came to perform in 13 Moscow parks. 

Today, on the 2nd of September, a combined orchestra of musicians from the Central Military Orchestra of the Russian Ministry of Defense and the Carabinieri band of Italy performed at the stage of the Central Cultural House of Railway Workers.

Anniversary edition of Х International Military Music Festival «Spasskaya Tower» in 2017 welcomed participants from Europe, Asia, Africa and Latin America. Military and musical, folk and horse bands demonstrated to the public their national cultural and military traditions, and especially for the Russian audience the foreign guests perform compositions of Russian authors.
