The Band of the Military University of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation is going to perform this Saturday, June 9, in Sokol’niki Park
It is going to be the fourth Saturday in a row (starting May 18) that military bands will entertain the Muscovites and guests of the capital with their performances. The concerts are being carried out within the “Military Bands in the Parks” program realized by the Directorate of the International Military Music Festival “Spasskaya Tower” with the support of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation and Government of Moscow.

The concert program involves more than 20 musicians and will last for more than an hour and it’s absolutely free of charge. The main aim of this event is “reviving the glorious Russian tradition of military bands performing in Moscow’s parks and gardens”.
It’s worth noticing that the most visited and popular not only among the Muscovites but also among tourists and guests of Moscow parks have been chosen as the concert venues. One of such venues is Sokol’niki Park, one of the oldest and biggest parks in the capital known for its beautiful views and music evenings.
