In 2018 the Artistic Council of the Festival decided to introduce the Voting for the Spasskaya Tower Audience Choice Award in two nominations featuring the Best Russian Performance and the Best Foreign Performance. Last year more than 200 thousand people cast their votes on the Festival’s official website and mobile app.
