The global pandemic has dictated its rules and brought to a hold different cultural events including festivals all around the world.
This year lacked big international military music festivals including Scotland Edinburgh Military Tattoo, Switzerland Basel Tattoo, Norwegian Tattoo, Netherlands Military Tattoo, Belgium Tattoo, events in Finland, US and many other places.
But the Spasskaya Tower International Military Music Festival took its place after all. Even if it was just a single evening show lacking the audiences on the stands and unfolding on a different venue (on Sobornaya Square of the Main Cathedral of the Russian Armed Forces instead of Red Square), it was seen online by millions of people. The thirteenth Festival vibrant performance was broadcasted live at ZVEZDA TV channel and streamed live on the official websites and social media accounts of the Russian Ministry of Defense and Spasskaya Tower Festival. It was just a single show demonstrating that the participants and organizers didn’t spend their efforts in vain, while all Festival’s audiences and fans, friends and partners managed to feel the incredible atmosphere of our breathtaking celebration of music.

The Spasskaya Tower Festival Directorate has already begun the preparation for the next production.
The Fourteenth Spasskaya Tower International Military Music Festival will unfold on Moscow’s Red Square from August 27 to September 5, 2021 following the orders of the President of the Russian Federation.
