Launched May 18 in Moscow’s Alexander Garden, the Military Bands in the City Parks is steadily gaining momentum. Thus, not one, but as many as two concerts will mark this weekend in the capital.
Saturday, May 25, a new park on Hodynskoe Pole will open its gate to host a concert of the Military Band of the Twenty Seventh Guards Independent Motorized Rifle Brigade of Sevastopol and Red Banner Order.
The band has the honor to be among the permanent participants of the famous Victory Parade on Red Square and is actively engaged in different music and cultural events and forums.
This time military musicians will cheer the audience up by performing popular songs and music compositions by Russian and foreign authors crowning their concert with Vasiliy Agapkin’s Farewell of Slavianka.
Come and spend the day with some of the best military musicians of Russia. The show will start near the Dry Fountain at 5 p.m. Don’t miss it.
