The Spasskaya Tower for Children is a special project of the Spasskaya Tower International Cultural Center.

“The Spasskaya Tower Children and Youth Wind Bands Festival has already become a highlight of Moscow’s music event agenda. This sparkling celebration unites appreciation both for good music as well as country’s culture and history. Every year on Moscow’s Red Square we witness a plethora of youngsters who are genuinely passionate for art and music and continuously aim to master their skills to perfection”, noted Major General Timofey Mayakin, Music Director of the Spasskaya Tower Festival and head of the Military Band Service of the Russian Armed Forces, adding that he would like to extend gratitude to everyone who made that wonderful project come true. “As usual, we are looking forward to meeting all the young talented musicians on Red Square. I wish them good luck and achieving new artistic heights”.

This year all children and youth music teams wishing to become part of the festival have to go through an online selection stage, and send the organizers their performance videos from February 16 to March 15, 2026.
