President of Russia Vladimir Putin Affirmed the Timeline of the 2026 Spasskaya Tower Festival

In 2026, as sanctioned by President of Russia Vladimir Putin, the Spasskaya Tower International Military Tattoo will run on Moscow’s Red Square from August 21 to 30.

Since 2007, carried out on order of the President of Russia, the Festival has overcome a great distance, evolving from a local-level celebration into a large-scale international highlight.

“This powerful, world-class artistic production has successfully pursued its path of becoming the most ambitious entertaining project of Russia’s cultural life, as well as one of the milestones of its international humanitarian activities”, highlighted President Putin in his annual address. “Set against the backdrop of the ancient walls of the Moscow Kremlin, as well as unfolding in the city parks and gardens, this unmatched celebration of music features a remarkable lineup of the world’s best military bands, dance teams and folklore ensembles. The Festival is a cutting-edge experience renowned for its atmosphere of joy and mighty spirit”.

Being an efficient tool for consolidating Russia’s society, the Spasskaya Tower Military Tattoo is also an example of the national resilience and fortitude as well as the country’s ability to overcome multiple obstacles, ensure continuous development and run the most ambitious projects, proving it to the entire world. The Festival remains focused on extending support to the Russian army, providing military musicians an opportunity to showcase their talent and expertise.

In 2025, the Spasskaya Tower International Military Tattoo welcomed twenty one participants from ten countries, including members of SCO and BRICS. Travelling all the way from Belarus, Kazakhstan, Republic of Srpska, Mongolia, Italy, UAE, Ethiopia, Burkina Faso and Zimbabwe, they brought to Moscow’s Red Square a piece of their national pride and cultural heritage. As for Russia, the Festival’s line-up featured some of the country’s best artistic teams representing its military and law enforcement. All in all, over 1600 participants pounded the cobblestones of last year’s Festival venue.

The Spasskaya Tower Festival is being carried out under the aegis of the Public Council headed by Mr. Alexander Zhukov, First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, and enjoying the unwavering support of the Russian MoD, MFA and Moscow Government’s Department of Culture.
