Alexander F. Sklyar has been a free artist and a fearless musician who is not afraid or embarrassed by change and treats life philosophically. He gave up his career as a diplomat to become a rock musician. Alexander F. Sklyar was among the pioneers who promoted alternative music in Russia and became the founder of the ‘Learn to Swim’ movement that gave a start in life for many talented artists. On stage, Alexander F. Sklyar is a musician, actor, and performer. His concert program is a kaleidoscope, moving from rock to cabaret, lyrical ballads and urban romance.
Alexander F. Sklyar will be part of the Spasskaya Tower Festival’s evening shows on August 27 and 28, as well as on September 2 and 3. The Honored Artist of Russia will perform Moscow Routes composition.
This year’s fifteenth anniversary run of the Spasskaya Tower Military Tattoo will showcase cultural and music presentations by performers from Armenia, Belarus, India, Egypt, and Thailand, along with homegrown talent from Russia, with the Russian Ministry of Defense, Federal Guard Service, National Guard Forces, Federal Security Service, and Russia’s Emergencies Ministry as the lead services this year.
