One of the Oldest Bands of Russia to Perform in front of the Main Cathedral of the Russian Armed Forces

Supported by the Russian Ministry of Defense, the Directorate of the Spasskaya Tower International Military Music Festival carries on its activities to revive the beautiful tradition of military orchestras performing in the city’s parks and gardens, squares and lanes, and other important venues.

This Saturday, July 30, our Military Bands in the City Parks project will heartily welcome the Military Band of the Central Orsha-Khingan Order of Zhukov Red Banner National Guard District Headquarters. Musicians will stage their concert right in front of the Main Cathedral of the Russian Armed Forces.

Founded in March 1923, the band is a permanent participant of the Spasskaya Tower International Military Music Festival and Victory Parade on Red Square. Next year, in 2023, the ensemble will celebrate its centennial.
Join us this Saturday at 2pm and spend some quality time listening to beautiful waltzes, popular wartime songs and the latest hits.

The event is organized by the Directorate of the Spasskaya Tower International Military Music Festival and the Museum and Main Cathedral of the Russian Armed Forces.
