Today, April 13, Russia celebrates the Philanthropist and Benefactor Day. We’d like to extend our congratulations to everyone engaged in these honourable activities.
This day is very special for us too as our Festival devotes much of its attention to charity. Every year socially vulnerable categories of people as well as educational institutions receive more than five thousands of free tickets.
Supported by the Russian MoD and the Government of Moscow the Spasskaya Tower Festival Directorate carries out several socially oriented projects featuring the Spasskaya Tower for Kids and Military Bands in the City Parks. Throughout the whole spring/summer season Muscovites and guests of the capital have an opportunity to become part of various music events absolutely for free.
During the Festival’s days Moscow’s Red Square welcomes the Children’s Playground along with the Horse Riding Arena that at the daytime (from 10am to 4pm) provide various shows and entertainment activities absolutely for free. Among them there are breathtaking horse riding performances staged by the Kremlin Equestrian School, Cavalry Escort of the Presidential Regiment and some of the best equestrian teams from all over the world.
