Carrying on with highlighting activities undertaken by the friends and partners of our Festival in this global battle against the COVID-19 pandemic

Today we’d like to extend our thanks to Transneft company that provides distinct assistance in fighting the novel coronavirus disease throughout the country especially in its operating regions.

Thus, for the infection hospital of Novorossiysk Chernomortransneft JSC has procured the much-needed drugs and antibiotics as well as high-tech equipment especially ventilators to treat grave cases of pneumonia evoked by COVID-19. For the Ukhta City Hospital № 1 the company’s northern branch Transneft-North is planning to provide medical equipment and materials, including PPE, ventilators, multifunctional hospital beds, etc. Transneft-Syntez, another affiliate of the company, will provide hot meals to overnight duties controlling the entry points of Elabuga city in the Tatarstan Republic.

Furthermore, Transneft staff and volunteers are largely engaged in providing assistance to various charity foundations that help the most vulnerable categories of society to live through this confinement period. For example, through the “We’re Together” project they are continued in communication with the veterans of the Great Patriot War, providing the necessary help and organizing food delivery. They donate money to VERA Hospice Charity Fund as well as procure necessary hygienics and PPE. Joining the “Happy Aging” Charity Fund they are trying their hand in video volunteering.
