Today some of the best junior riders from Russia and Syria competed for the Spasskaya Tower Cup of Friendship carried out within the celebrations of the tenth anniversary of the horse riding arena on Red Square.
Show jumping competition featured six youth Russian and Syrian competitors, champions and prize-winners of various international competitions. They competed in duets and had to show all their skills and agileness.
The international duet of Evgenia Boiko and Sham Al Assad celebrated victory in this year’s Cup of Friendship perfectly running the distance at record time.
In show jumping everything is of outmost importance, from riders’ technical skills to horses’ age and character. “My horse is young. She is only seven years old. Thus, she is interested in everything here. Again, competing on Red Square is not a mundane thing. But we’ve done it great”, said Evgenia Boiko, winner of the Russia-Syria Cup of Friendship.
