The Spasskaya Tower Children Playground Hosted the Professions Day

Go back

Every day the theme-related pavilions of the Children Playground are offering the Festival’s youngest guests and their parents a thrilling opportunity to involve themselves in various interactive activities. Hence, on August 29, it hosted the Professions Day. Historic, artistic, Cossacks, military, patriotic, music and literature tents prepared different creative master classes, quizzes and team games to get children acquainted with various professions of the past, present and future.

All boys and girls might have broadened their knowledge and test their erudition taking part in the activities prepared by the pavilions. They might have done it individually or as a team. At the entrance of the Children Playground qualified entertainers were waiting for kids and their parents to guide them through this interesting journey.

Teams visited the pavilions one by one, took part in quiz games and competed in a big quest offered by the Vympel Military Patriotic Center.

What is the title of the Cossacks leader and how is he chosen? What was the role of the Cossacks in the southern borders of Russia? These were just some of the questions asked in the Cossacks pavilion that made brainstorming not only children but the adults as well. But there was no need for Google that day as all the organizers were ready to provide any help and information. As we all know, educating the younger generation is one of the major tasks of the Spasskaya Tower for Children.

Run by the Saint Petersburg Presidential Library, the literature pavilion offered an opportunity to discover the wonderful world of books and information as well as get acquainted with the job of a librarian.

The military tent showed the children what it means to be among the ranks of the Presidential Regiment while the historic pavilion told the history of traditional old Russian puppet comedy. All the visitors of the artistic tent have become part of a doll sewing master class.

Tomorrow, August 30, the Spasskaya Tower Children Playground invites you for the Music Day and August 31 – for the Honor Guard Day featuring the Spasskaya Tower Children and Youth Honor Guard Contest.
