The Band of the Russian Emergencies Ministry

The Band of the Russian Emergencies Ministry was created in 1995. The band performs actively not only in leading venues of the capital, inclu­ding the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory and the State Kremlin Palace, but also in parks and public gardens. The band has a very busy touring schedule. It regularly goes on tours around Russia. In addition, the musicians participate in Russian and international festivals of military bands — in Arkhangelsk, St. Petersburg and Tripoli (Libya).

High academic culture of the performance, a carefully selected repertoire — ranging from military marches to philharmonic concerts, from West European and Russian classical music to contemporary pop and rock compositions, virtuosity and high professionalism of the musicians — have become the hallmark of the band. It cooperates with many popular musicians and vocalists.
