The band includes some of the best students of the Puebla State higher schools. Dressed in the traditional mariachi costumes and wearing large sombreros musicians perform a huge variety of music pieces varying from traditional Mexican ones to popular foreign compositions.
Banda Monumental enjoys great popularity in Mexico throwing large concerts, taking part in national competitions, military parades and carnivals. The band successfully represents its country abroad taking part in various music events in Asia, Europe and America. The band also took part in the Edinburgh Military Music Tattoo.

Tenochtitlan Folklore Dancing Company was founded in 1988 in the city of Puebla following the initiative of Mr. Saulo Romero Espinal, specialist in the Mexican peoples’ cultural heritage.
The ensemble features participants from all over Mexico. They specialize in performing popular native dances and rhythms reflecting different cultural traditions of the Mexican people mixing them with contemporary choreography. All this requires great physical endurance.
The company has made more than 150 international tours to Europe, Asia, Africa and America, including Germany, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Holland, Slovakia, Finland, France, Greece, Great Britain, Italy, Chili, Turkey, Egypt and others.
