Favorite Russian waltzes, movie soundtracks, folk and pop melodies will sound this Saturday, June 30, in Bauman Garden of Culture and Recreation where the Military Band of the Moscow Higher Military Command School is going to perform.
It’s not a secret that the “Military Bands in the Parks” program which is being carried out every Saturday from May to August has already acquired its fans. “Sounds of a band playing in a park or garden of the capital always mean party and a dose of positive emotions. Every Saturday I on purpose come to Moscow’s parks to listen to wonderful music”, told blogger Alexei Fedotov.
The main idea of the “Military Bands in the Parks” concert cycle is to revive one of the most beautiful and romantic traditions of the capital. The program has been prepared by the Directorate of the International Military Music Festival “Spasskaya Tower” together with the Military Band Service of the Russian Armed Forces with the support of the Ministry of Defense of Russia and Government of Moscow.
