“Krasnaya Presnya” Park Will Welcome Music Summer on the Last Saturday of July

The Military Band of the Special Task Independent Division named after F. Dzerzhinsky decorated with the orders of Zhukov, Lenin, October Revolution and Red Banner of the Federal Service of the National Guard of the Russian Federation is going to perform July 28 onstage of one of the oldest parks of the capital.

At 5 p.m. sharp romantic and gorgeous band music is going to enter the silence of the park’s nature ensemble with its old-time alleys, picturesque Dutch ponds, islands and arch bridges.

The concert program will begin with an old-time waltz “Beroyzka” (“The Birch”) which will be followed by the vibrant Cuban “Habanera” and hot-tempered “Tsyganochka” (“The Gipsy Girl”). The music marathon will continue with the love confession to the best city on Earth — musician will perform a music potpourri “This is Moscow”.

The band hasn’t unveiled all the program of the coming concert but warned that pleasant surprises await all the viewers.

Let’s notice that this is the third summer in a row that military bands’ music fills Moscow’s parks and gardens. From May to August concert programs like a “music marathon” run across the most beautiful and coziest green venues of the capital.

Annually the “Military Bands in the Parks” program is being organized by the Directorate of the International Military Music Festival “Spasskaya Tower” with the support of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, Russian Emergencies Ministry, National Guard Forces and Government of Moscow.

The concert program in the “Krasnaya Presnya” Park which is also called the “absolute Venice in gardens” is going to last about an hour and the entrance is free (0+).

In 2018 thirteen Moscow’s parks and gardens take part in the “Military Bands in the Parks” program. Dancing pairs, participants of the “Moscow Longevity” program, perfectly decorate the military bands’ performances this year. Another peculiarity of this year campaign is the participation of volunteers from Moscow’s Cultural Center “Park Novoslobodskiy”.

The cycle is going to be adjourned August 18 in the Alexander Garden forestalling ten incredible and colorful evening shows of the International Military Music Festival “Spasskaya Tower” which is going to be held on Red Square from August 24 till September 2, 2018.
