Mireille Mathieu, popular French singer, is going to perform at the Eleventh Spasskaya Tower International Military Music Festival on August 31 as well on September 1 and September 2 (in the daytime and evening programs). She will perform three songs Pardonne moi ce caprice d`enfant, Sous le ciel de paris and Amour défendu.
Will be there any surprises during the performance of the French celebrity as it’s been the last two years? The question remains unanswered.
To recap, last year Mireille Mathieu appeared at the opening show of the Spasskaya Tower Festival accompanied by the Cavalry Escort of the Federal Guard Service of the Russian Federation and one of her songs, Une vie d’amour, she dedicated to her friend Lieutenant General Valeriy Khalilov, first Music Director of the Festival. The other day in a duet with Russian singer Zara she performed the song Sous le ciel de paris.
Back in 2016 a surprise awaited Mireille Mathieu herself. A carriage was driven to Red Square out of which on the cobblestone of the main square of the country stepped a real bear and presented the singer with a samovar from Tula.
Will be there any surprises this year is still a secret, but Russian audience is looking forward for these performances.
