Nimrod`s Saublaser Band from Austria Will Perform in the Fair Village on Red Square

In the running-up to the Spasskaya Tower International Military Music Festival the Nimrod`s Saublaser band from Austria is going to perform in the fair village of Red Square on August 11 at 1 p.m. Into Russian the name of the band translates as musicians playing during the hunt.

Twelve members of the group represent an ancient small town of Marchegg founded in 1260 in the Lower Austria. Gernot Haupt, the mayor of the town, is one of the band’s participants.

Musicians perform on hunter’s wind instruments dressed in the Austrian national costumes: leather shorts, white high socks and Tirolean hats. That accounts for the name of the band.
