This Monday, August 25, the fourth show of the Spasskaya Tower Military Tattoo unfolded on Red Square. Shoreless Blue Sea and Endless Prairies were featured in the music sketches presented by the Central Band of the Russian Navy named after Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov and the Mongolian Military Song and Dance Academic Ensemble.

his Monday, August 25, the Spasskaya Tower International Military Tattoo welcomed back its Children and Youth Wind Bands Festival. The first day featured performances by four ensembles representing Moscow, its region and Saint Petersburg who performed on Red Square beneath the walls of the Moscow Kremlin.

This Sunday, August 24, the Spasskaya Tower International Military Music Festival welcomed Albina Shagimuratova, a leading singer of the renowned Saint Petersburg Mariinsky Theatre. One of the world’s most acclaimed sopranos, she performed Franz Schubert’s ‘Ave Maria’ to the accompaniment of the gorgeous Central Military Band of the Ministry of Defense of Russia.

This Sunday, August 24, Moscow’s parks and public squares could do nothing but surrender to the captivating sounds of music and vivid dancing pas performed by the foreign participants of the 2025 Spasskaya Tower International Military Music Festival. Ensembles from Belarus, Burkina Faso, Zimbabwe, Italy, Kazakhstan, Mongolia, the UAE, the Republika Srpska and Ethiopia infused the day with a boost of energy and pure joy.

It’s 23d of August in Moscow and it’s the second day of the Spasskaya Tower Festival, one of the world’s finest celebrations of arts, music and military. In a year paying tribute to Russia’s great military legacy, the elite airborne forces performed an unforgettable set dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the end of the Great Patriotic War and the 95th anniversary of the Airborne Forces, widely known as the VDV.

This Saturday, August 23, participants of the Seventeenth Spasskaya Tower International Military Music Festival performed in Moscow’s VDNH to greet all the guests and residents of Russia’s gorgeous capital. Building a bridge between the continents, the Spasskaya Tower Festival parade showcased vibrant hues of Africa, rhythmic precision of Europe, lyric melodies of the Middle east, endless beauty of the Asian prairies as well as the heartfelt songs of Russia.

This Friday, August 22, Russia commemorated two significant events: the Day of the National Flag and the start of the Seventeenth Spasskaya Tower International Military Music Festival. Twenty-five artistic teams from Russia, Asia, Africa and Europe gathered on Moscow Red Square, including some of the world’s finest presidential orchestras from Russia and Burkina Faso.
