This Saturday, June 6, Moscow’s Gorky Park will come alive with the grand opening of the 2026 Military Bands in the City Parks season. Celebrating 10 years of musical tradition, military artistry, and unforgettable performances, this anniversary run will launch on Pushkinskaya Embankment within the ‘Theater Boulevard’ International Open Festival. Throughout the summer, some of Russia’s most accomplished military musicians will take to the stage in Moscow’s parks and gardens to deliver captivating live performances for residents and visitors alike.
With the continued support of the Russian Ministry of Defense and the Moscow Department of Culture, the Directorate of the Spasskaya Tower International Military Tattoo continues its efforts to revive one of the most charming traditions of the past: military bands performing in parks and gardens, along streets and alleys, and at other iconic venues.
The initiative once again builds anticipation for the 2026 Spasskaya Tower Festival, which will unfold on Red Square between August 21 to 30.
We are looking forward to meeting you this Saturday on Pushkinskaya Embankment of Moscow Gorky Park to enjoy performances by
- the Suvorov Cadet Band of the Lieutenant General Valery Khalilov Moscow Military Music College,
- the Exemplary Military Band of the Honor Guard of the Russian Ministry of Defense, and
- the Military Band of the First Air and Missile Defense Army of the Russian Aerospace Forces.
Join us at 4:00 PM and kick off your weekend with an afternoon of outstanding music and entertainment. The performance is free and open to the public.
