This Sunday, June 15, Moscow’s Bauman Garden will once again open its doors for the Military Bands in the City Parks, a special project carried out by the Spasskaya Tower International Military Tattoo. At 4pm (16:00) everyone strolling in the park will have an opportunity to enjoy some of the most nostalgic and beloved music pieces performed by the Central Band of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia or FSIN.
With Major of Internal Service Alexey Volkov taking the lead, the ensemble will pay tribute to the 80th anniversary of the Great Patriotic War Victory, a landmark event that is being widely celebrated all over Russia. Thus, musicians have decided to present to their audiences some of the renowned war years’ songs, including the famous Yan Frenkel’s Cranes, a song about soldiers who did not come back alive from battles.
