Join the Volunteers’ Union at the Spasskaya Tower International Military Music Festival

The Volunteers’ Union is inviting everyone eligible to become part of what we may certainly call one of the most iconic artistic productions of the globe, namely the Spasskaya Tower International Military Music Festival. For the seventeenth time Moscow will host this ambitious project to unfold on Red Square from August 22 to 31.

The Spasskaya Tower Festival is the place where everyone may find something to their personal liking. One will admire the precise and synchronised movements of the troops, while the other will be delighted to hear live some of the world’s finest music pieces. You may also seize the day and get acquainted with an exclusive assembly of cultures, customs and traditions from all over the globe, or — and who knows — you are just a huge fan of Red Square, so you can enjoy yourself onsite the one and only venue of the Festival.

Since 2007 the Tattoo has been a collection of awe-inspiring evening performances staged in the very heart of the Russian capital. Scale, audience and impact wise, it has no par, every year being recognized as the most prominent international cultural event in Russia, as well as being ranked among the world’s best top three military tattoos.

Throughout its sixteen years of history the Spasskaya Tower Festival welcomed in Moscow participants from 59 states, with over 900k people attending its evening shows on Red Square.

We’d like to invite volunteers from Moscow to become part of the Spasskaya Tower Festival. Your engagement is required at four functional areas: check points, onsite navigation, accompanying guests on the stands, and press center.

If you want to join us you need to

• be open, have good communication skills and stress immunity;
• know English at the Pre-Intermediate level and higher (for press center);
• undergo the obligatory training in August;
• go through recruiting (for press center);
• be available for at least five days of the Festival.

An indispensable part of every upscale event, members of the Volunteers’ Union have always contributed to the Spasskaya Tower Tattoo overall atmosphere of goodwill and kindness, while being of tremendous help to the project’s organizers. Annually the number of people seeking to join the Festival’s tightly knit circle is increasing.

Volunteers’ activities go far beyond the list of regular duties they are assigned, as onsite the venue they are the key link between the audiences and organizers. Everyone who has ever taken part in the Spasskaya Tower Tattoo remembers the days of the Festival with the greatest joy and warmth.
