Sounds of Popular Songs Will Flow Over the Esplanade of the Main Cathedral of the Russian Armed Forces

Go back

This Sunday, July 21, the esplanade of the Main Cathedral of the Russian Armed Forces will become the stage for another performance of the Military Bands in the City Parks special project. Musicians of the Military Band of the 147th Motor Vehicle Base of the Russian Ministry of Defense will treat the audiences to a gleeful assembly of classical and modern compositions by Russian authors.

Founded in 1996, the ensemble is committed to fostering excellence, with some of the best professional military musicians among its ranks. Its repertoire is huge. Performing both military and wind classical compositions, musicians always seek stepping out of the box and enriching their artistic record with modern popular hits from home and abroad. On the helm of the band is Captain Vladislav Mysheev who is sturdy leading his band to conquer new professional heights.

Musicians have the honor to annually take part in the Great Victory Parade on Red Square as part of the combined band. For their excellency they have been granted numerous awards.

Since 2008, the band has become a good friend of the Spasskaya Tower Festival, always trying to move forward and award the audiences fresh original performances.

We are looking forward to seeing you on July 21 at 3 pm beneath the walls of the Main Cathedral of the Russian Armed Forces. Join us and enjoy high-quality music absolutely for free.

With the ongoing support of the Russian Ministry of Defense, the Organizing Committee of the Spasskaya Tower International Military Tattoo continues its efforts to revive one of the most charming traditions of the past, with military bands performing in parks and gardens, streets and alleys, and other iconic spots in Moscow and its environs.
