For the sixteenth time, the Spasskaya Tower International Military Tattoo will wrap up the summer season in Moscow. In 2024, as sanctioned by President of Russia Vladimir Putin, the major music festival will return to Moscow’s Red Square from August 23 to September 1.
Scale, audience and impact wise, the Spasskaya Tower Festival has no par, every year being recognized as the most prominent international cultural event in Russia, as well as being ranked among the world’s best top three military tattoos.
Addressing participants and audiences of the Festival, President Vladimir Putin once noted,

In 2022, the Festival celebrated its 15th anniversary, welcoming along these years more than 160 artistic teams
from 57 nations all over the world. Over 860k people attended the Festival events, while its online audiences
surpassed 50 million people worldwide.
The military tattoo is famous for its evening shows. As per a longstanding tradition, it also
carries out an outstanding charity program, distributing several thousands of tickets among
representatives of the socially vulnerable groups of people as well as educational institutions
of Moscow, its region and across the country. In 2022, the program was extended to cover families
of the servicemen taking part in the special military operation in Ukraine. Along with the evening
shows, the Festival’s regular program involves a manifold of side events and special projects.
The Festival is being carried out under the aegis of the Public Council led by Mr Alexander
Zhukov, First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation,
and with the continued support of the Russian Ministry of Defense and Cultural Department of the
Moscow Government.
The Spasskaya Tower International Military Tattoo became a winner of the 2023 special grant competition by the Presidential Foundation for Cultural Initiatives.
