Oleg Gazmanov Will Peform in the Grand Finale of the 2022 Spasskaya Tower Festival

Oleg Gazmanov, a popular Russian singer, composer, and poet who has won numerous state, national, and international awards, will perform at the Spasskaya Tower International Military Music Festival, which will be held in Moscow’s iconic Red Square from August 26 to September 4.

Oleg Gazmanov’s repertoire is distinguished by thematic diversity, ranging from lyric and vibrant dance songs to profound patriotic music pieces. For almost ten years, his concert program “Officers” has always scored a full house on stage at the largest and most prestigious concert venues across the country. The respective song is regarded to be the hymn of all the defenders of the Fatherland. Oleg Gazmanov has repeatedly traveled with concerts to support military personnel living and serving on the borders of our country, performed in military hospitals and rehabilitation centers. The Songs of Victory project aims at commemorating and immortalizing the songs of the Great Patriotic War and is very popular among all audience segments. On May 9, 2005, more than a million people gathered on Poklonnaya Hill to support the project and enjoy these crucial music pieces.
Oleg Gazmanov successfully combines his successful career as a popular singer with extensive charitable activities. His Don’t Even Try charitable project against AIDS and drugs has set foot in the largest cities in the country, raising millions of rubles to support and treat children born to HIV-positive parents.
Oleg Gazmanov will perform at the Spasskaya Tower Festival’s evening shows on August 29 and September 4. The Honored Artist of Russia will perform his song Moscow, regarded as the unofficial anthem of Russia’s capital.
This year’s fifteenth anniversary run of the Spasskaya Tower Military Tattoo will showcase cultural and music presentations by performers from Armenia, Belarus, India, Egypt, and Thailand, along with homegrown talent from Russia, with the Russian Ministry of Defense, Federal Guard Service, National Guard Forces, Federal Security Service, and Russia’s Emergencies Ministry as the lead services this year.
