The greeting letter that Alexander Romanov, official voice of the Spasskaya Tower Festival, read before the show began, reads:

I would like to sincerely welcome you at the Fourteenth Spasskaya Tower International Military Music Festival.
As a matter of long-standing tradition, the Spasskaya Tower Festival has always gathered some of the world's best military music bands and artistic ensembles, for ten days turning Moscow's Red Square into a splendid concert stage. Here you will witness high-end artists masterly performing all music styles and genres imaginable as well honor guard units demonstrating their drilling skills.
Wind music combined with authentic manifestations of art allows us to feel the unique national character and grasp how the world's cultures are versatile.
I would also like to draw your special attention to the Spasskaya Tower for Kids project that makes priceless contribution into patriotic upbringing of the youth.
I'm sure that events directed at harvesting spiritual unity and mutual cultural enrichment are the best means to develop mutual understanding and build confidence among countries.
