The Combined Band of the Russian Airborne Forces Will Perform at the 2021 Spasskaya Tower Festival

The 2021 Spasskaya Tower International Military Music Festival will host a sole performance staged by the Combined Band of the Russian Airborne Forces. This year’s Festival run will unfold on Moscow’s Red Square from August 27 to September 5 in the COVID free format.

The performance will also feature participation of the Song and Dance Company of the Russian Armed Forces and Honor Guard Unit of the Ryazan Airborne Command Higher School named after Army General Margelov.

“We are very happy to congratulate all representatives of the Russian Airborne Forces on their professional day. Last year members of the Combined Band made their debut onstage of the Spasskaya Tower Festival. Joined by the Song and Dance Company of the Russian Airborne Forces and Honor Guard Unit of the Ryazan Airborne Command Higher School named after Army General Margelov, they staged such an amazing performance that managed to gain huge audiences appreciation. We are sure that this time our airborne troops will make a breathtaking show as well”, noted representatives of the Spasskaya Tower Festival Directorate.

The Combined Band of the Russian Airborne Forces makes an essential part of all solemn events organized and held by Russia’s airborne troops.

The ensemble’s musicians annually take part in the Great Victory Parade on Moscow’s Red Square, as well as solemn events held at the Patriot Park of the Russian Armed Forces, International Army Games competitions and events organized by the Airborne Forces command.

The Combined Band features ten best musicians serving within military bands of the airborne and paratrooper units of the Russian Airborne Forces. In addition to their great professional skills and music talent, the combined ensemble’s members demonstrate excellent drilling and marching skills as well as great respect to their service.

The Combined Band of the Russian Airborne Forces are accompanied by the Song and Dance Company of the Russian Airborne Forces and Honor Guard Cadet Unit of the Ryazan Airborne Command Higher School named after Army General Margelov.
