Today, May 13, is the birthday of Colonel Evgeniy Nikitin, Deputy Head of the President Band of the Moscow Kremlin Commandant Office of the Federal Guard Service of Russia, Military Conductor and Music Director of the Spasskaya Tower for Kids Children and Youth Wind Band Festival.
Since 2007 Colonel Nikitin has been on the helm of the President Band, always leading it to the cobblestones of Red Square. He’s directly involved in supervising the Spasskaya Tower for Kids Wind Band Contest among the participants from the Central Federal Region and performance of the Spasskaya Tower for Kids Combined Youth Band. In May 2019 accompanied by the Combined Children Choir the Combined Youth Band staged a small concert scoring tremendous success.
