Today, August 27, the legendary French singer Mireille Маthieu has arrived in Moscow.
She was welcomed at the airport by the members of the Honor Guard of the Presidential Regiment of the Service of Moscow’s Kremlin Commandant of the Federal Guard Service of the Russian Federation and presented with flowers.
Madame Mathieu will perform at the Eleventh Spasskaya Tower International Military Music Festival on August 31, September 1 and 2. The last day she’s going to perform twice, both at the daytime and evening shows. Madame Mathieu will perform three of her songs - Pardonne moi ce caprice d`enfant, Sous le ciel de paris and Amour defendu.
Last year Mireille Mathieu appeared at the opening show of the Spasskaya Tower Festival accompanied by the Cavalry Escort of the Federal Guard Service of the Russian Federation and one of her songs, Une vie d'amour, she dedicated to her friend Lieutenant General Valeriy Khalilov, first Music Director of the Festival. The other day in a duet with Russian singer Zara she performed the song Sous le ciel de paris.
