I am glad to welcome you to the Sixteenth Spasskaya Tower International Military Music Festival.
Moscow is always looking forward to this extensive artistic forum, whose exceptional concepts and captivating performances, coupled with the remarkable talent of its participants and prevailing atmosphere of celebration, certainly excite imagination.
As usual, it brings together military bands and ceremonial units, choreographic and folk ensembles from Russia and abroad on Red Square and at other concert venues in Moscow and its surroundings, including the nearby Patriot Park. The Festival organizers do not only plan traditional shows, but also carry out an array of educational and charitable initiatives aimed at supporting the patriotic upbringing of the youngsters and families of military personnel participating in the special military operation.
I am confident that the Spasskaya Tower festival will surpass our expectations and remain in our memories for a long time.
