The program of holding mass cultural events for the Muscovites and guests of the capital during the summer season in parks of various administrative districts has been realized since 2013. Every year the number of viewers visiting the shows of the Kremlin Equestrian School cavaliers is growing. In 2013 about 8000 people visited the venues of the School performances, but in 2016 this number grew up to 20000 viewers.
2018 summer activities program has been developed in accordance with various comments and suggestions of the last year’s audience. While retaining the cultural component more time is dedicated to the interactive part of the program for children and their parents.
The 2018 program is dedicated to the role of horses in cinema, theatre and circus. Viewers will have an opportunity to learn about and watch various elements of the higher equestrian school used in the process of preparing equestrian programs for circus, elements of applied military types of equestrian sports used by stunt players during filming as well as horse riding tricks and acrobatic trick riding (jigitovka) supplied by historical narration of their meaning and use.
Moreover, viewers will learn the history of creation of the cavalry regiments initially formed to participate in the filming process and then transforming into the Cavalry Escort of the Presidential Regiment.
