The Western Australia Police Pipe Band
Founded in 1966 in the city of Perth, which is the centre of one of the largest Police Districts in the world (more than 2.5 million. sq.m.), the Western Australia Police Pipe Band wears the checks of Scottish family Napier and has several variants of uniform, from full parade to summer. Today it’s one of the best police pipe bands in the world featuring acting police officers.
The Band regularly scores at different ceremonies in all the Australian states and has successfully toured in New Zealand, USA, Hongkong, Indonesia as well as Great Britain and Scotland.
