The Song and Dance Ensemble of the Internal Troops of the Belarus Ministry of Internal Affairs is one of the most distinguished and prominent artistic teams of the country. Based on the country’s traditional music, the band’s unique performing style makes it stand out from the pack. But the artists do not limit themselves just to epic and patriotic music pieces, combining them with an array of contemporary melodies arranged in different styles.
Founded on November 11, 1996, the Song and Dance Ensemble has toured all across Belarus performing onstage of the most relevant national venues and securing its right to be among the best professional music groups of the country.
Between 2001 and 2008, the ensemble’s artists were actively engaged in various international music festivals and contests carried out in Europe.

On November 16, 2011 following the order of the Belarus Council of Ministers, the ensemble was awarded the title of Honored Ensemble of the Belarus Republic for its major arts achievements and relevant contribution to the development of national culture.
