The National Presidential Band

The National Presidential Band of Ukraine was founded back in 1991. Its main task is to perform state protocol needs. In 2003 the group was awarded the status of the national band.
The ensemble also contributes to the prestige of many official ceremonies and state celebrations, gives honor to high ranking personalities and officials, continues Ukrainian Army traditions and preserves traditional national culture.
Today’s National Presidential Band is a large artistic organization featuring professional musicians with academic background. Among them there are wind, string and traditional music instruments performers, as well as soloist and vocalists. The band has always been engaged in significant music collaborations with leading Ukrainian and foreign artists and ensembles including Ivan Karabyts, Anatoliy Solovianenko Yevgen Stankovych, Anatoliy Solovyanenko, Iosif Kobzon, the Yavir Quartet, the Choir of the National Opera of Ukraine.
