The Military Band of the Commandant Regiment of the Ministry of Defense of the Tajikistan Republic

Formed back in 1994 the band is usually engaged in performing various protocol duties, including supporting state official events and military rituals, meeting and seeing-off ceremonies of the heads of states and parliaments as well as the inauguration of the President of the Republic as the ensemble’s primary task.

The Military Band of the Commandant Regiment is also engaged in enhancing the overall cultural level of the Tajikistan National Army, takes part in different state level concerts and open-air public events. The ensemble carries out special cultural and educational program and stages charity concerts across the Republic.

The Military Band of the Commandant Regiment includes the karnaists’s orchestra, while the repertoire ranges from the countries’ state official anthems and military marches to the world’s classics and pieces by Tajik composers.

For special occasions the band has developed a special military parade uniform.
