The Band of the People’s Liberation Army

Formed in 1947, the Military Band of the People’s Liberation Army of China is the chief ceremonial musical ensemble of the country at the state level. Its tasks include music covering of major state events including official welcoming ceremonies for heads of the states, governments and armed forces.
The group features symphonic and brass bands as well as a team of teachers of wind music and music studio.
The Military Band of the PLA participated in important state events including major national holidays, 2010 Summer Olympics in Beijing, 2010 World’s Fair in Shanghai (Expo 2010) and others.
Annually the band performs concert programs for the members of the Chinese Armed Forces and is always on tour locally and abroad.
The Guards of Honor of the People’s Liberation Army

The Guards of Honor of the People’s Liberation Army features military representative of the ground, naval and air force. The unit was created to participate in the ceremonies accompanying foreign heads of state, government and military leaders as well as other special public events.
Since the Guards foundation, unit was involved in the most important historical events of the People’s Republic of China and the Communist Party of China. Guards honor shows the modern image of the PLA, being a role model of military bearing and drill in the PLA.
