The Brass Band of the Israeli Police

The Brass Band of the Israeli police was created in 1921 during the reign of the British Mandate.
The orchestra consists of professional musicians with higher and secondary musical academic background. Coming mainly from the CIS countries, many of the musicians have had vast experience in serving in various symphony and brass bands. Among them there are winners of various union and republican competitions of musicians as well the Israeli Defense Forces soldiers.
The ensemble’s repertoire features works by classical composers and Israeli music authors as well as jazz pieces arranged mainly by Eitan Sobol and Michael Gurevich, conductors of the band.
The orchestra is actively involved in community projects organized by the Israeli police, public concerts, festivals and state official ceremonies.
The team has repeatedly and successfully performed abroad, including Russia, Ukraine, Switzerland, Germany and Hungary and was awarded numerous awards.
