Formed on November 1, 1994, the Band of the Sharjah Police Science Academy focuses on carrying out protocol duties at formal gatherings and ceremonies. Musicians also play a prominent role in the Sharjah Emirate’s public life, promoting police service and solidifying the country’s reputation as a place where law and order reign.

The Sharjah Police Science Academy Band may always be spotted among the participants of state national celebrations marking the UAE Flag Day, Commemoration Day (formerly known as Martyrs' Day) and National Day.
The ensemble has participated in numerous renowned international events, such as the Abu Dhabi International Exhibition of National Security and Resilience, and military music festivals in Oman and China. The Sharjah musicians have also shared stage with artistic teams from the other Arab and Gulf countries.
Early in his career, Lieutenant Colonel Hussain Ali Saleh Mohammed Abdullah Al Raisi served as cadet training instructor. Later he shifted his focus to military music, where he played a crucial role in shaping the organisational and artistic structures of the regional military units.
