The Honor Guard of the State Fire Training Service Academy of the Ministry of the Russian Federation for Civil Defense, Emergencies and Elemination of Consequences of Natural Disasters (Emercom of Russia)
The Honor Guard Unit of the State FireFighter Training Academy of the Russian Emergencies Ministry (REM) is engaged in various activities carried out by the REM and the city of Moscow. Members of the unit can be frequently seen taking part in the solemn opening ceremonies of different monuments and memorial complexes as well as performing onstage city venues.
Performing ceremonial duties is a complex and multifaceted process that requires many hours of training as well as resilience, both physical and psychological. Thus, only the most resilient and diligent students qualify to be part of the academy’s Honor Guard Unit.
