Boonwattana School Marching Band was established in 1991 to promote and support gifted and talented students; develop their potential and skills, strengthen discipline, patience, and unity; as well as encourage productive use of time while at school.
The ensemble has participated in various competitions, coming first in the majority of them. The musicians from Boonwattana School Marching Band managed to win the 2021 Thailand International Marching Competitions, receiving the Royal Trophy given by His Majesty the King of Thailand, and the 2022 Nakhonchaiburin Marching Competitions, securing the Royal Trophy given by Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn Krom Phra Srisavangavadhana. In 2021, the group took part in the Thailand World Music Championships, becoming the Indoor Marching Arts champion and placing second in the Marching Field Show.
