The Band of the Russian National Guard Forces Chief Department for the Krasnodar Region traces its history back to 1963. In those years, the ensemble has grown from a small regiment band to a large multifunctional music team, while the band’s musicians are capable of performing a wide range of tasks.
The group takes part in all the significant events carried out in the Krasnodar region. Musicians actively engage with the local officials representing the governor’s executive office and Ministry of Culture. They also devote much of their time to the moral upbringing of the young.
The band’s achievement record lists performances in various national and international festivals and contests.
In 2011, musicians took part in a special competition held among the bands representing the Internal Troops of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs, securing third place.
