On May 20, the Alexander Garden of the Moscow Kremlin will host the opening of the summer season of the concert program Military Orchestras in Parks. Three groups will perform at once: regular participants of the Spasskaya Tower Festival — Military Orchestra of the Honor Guard, Military Band of the 154th Separate Commandant’s Preobrazhensky Regiment and Orchestra of the Military Institute (of military conductors) of the Military University. The best orchestras of the country are an integral part of most official events with the participation of the country’s leadership.
The performance of the orchestras begins at 15.30 at several sites near the Alexander Garden. Then the main action will take place on the site near the historical grotto. A welcoming speech will be delivered by the Member of the Public Council of the Spasskaya Tower Festival, Commandant of the Moscow Kremlin, Lieutenant General Sergei Khlebnikov, Head of the Spasskaya Tower Festival Directorate Sergei Smirnov and Head of the Moscow City Culture Department Alexander Kibovsky.
