This Saturday will become a real feast for all the admirers of wind music.
On July 21 as many as two city venues — the Bauman Garden and Izmailovskiy Park are going to welcome performances of two music bands. The Muscovites and guests of the capital will hear melodies that are truly loved by many generations —
These concerts are being held within the “Military Bands in the Parks” program which is being organized by the Directorate of the International Military Music Festival “Spasskaya Tower” with the support of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, Russian Emergencies Ministry, Federal Service of the National Guard of the Russian Federation and Government of Moscow.
Music Saturday is going to begin at 2 p.m. in the Bauman Garden. The Band of the Russian Emergencies Ministry will perform onstage of the “Rakushka” (“The Shell”) venue. The band is a permanent participant of the International Military Music Festival “Spasskaya Tower” and is known among music admirers as a band with a wide repertoire — from military marches to philharmonic concerts.
Musicians are promising that nobody will get bored.
Let’s remind that the concert scheduled for the 30th of June in the Bauman Garden was cancelled due to the bad weather forecast.
“We hope that this time the weather won’t be so fussy and will support us with its „sunny applause“ which we will pass from our hearts to the hearts of our viewers”, noted the head of the band Lieutenant Colonel of the Internal Service Anton Kozhevatov.
Then, the baton of the music marathon will be passed to Izmailovskiy Park where the Band of the National Guard Forces is going to perform.

The concert program is being kept in secret but we’ve managed to find out that marches, potpourri of popular war years’ songs, jazz melodies as well as band versions of famous music compositions await the audience.
Musicians are warning everybody that the evening will pass under the slogan: “Everybody Dance!”
In 2018 thirteen Moscow’s parks and gardens take part in the “Military Bands in the Parks” program. The cycle is gong to be adjourned August 18 in the Alexander Garden preceding ten wonderful and colorful evening shows of the International Military Music Festival “Spasskaya Tower” which is going to be held on Red Square from August 24 till September 2, 2018.
