The Directorate of the Spasskaya Tower International Military Music Festival became a full-fledged member of the Asian Marching Band Confederation (AMBC). This decision was taken by the annual AMBC Board meeting held in the end of 2019 in Thailand.

Representatives of more than twenty countries took part in the annual AMBC Board meeting: including Russia, Bhutan, China, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Maldives, Mongolia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Republic of Korea, Taiwan, and Thailand as well as seven other members recognized: Brunei, Cambodia, Hong Kong, Macau India, Iran and United Arab Emirates.

Russia was represented by the delegation of the Directorate of the Spasskaya Tower International Military Tattoo. Following the results of the meeting the AMBC Board approved a new set of its Executive Officers as well as the choice of the Spasskaya Tower Festival Directorate as one of them.

Established back in 2015 the Asian Marching Band Confederation now features representatives of twenty-three countries. The AMBC remains strong with its vision and mission of supporting and promoting marching arts across Asia.
